T.O. Loves To Be Loved But Haunted By His Past

Terrell Owens sits down with a sigh, his long career as a professional athlete/lightning rod perhaps summed up best on this particular November afternoon by the sweat-soaked jersey he wears. On the front it reads “iLove” and on the back, continuing the thought, “Me Some Me.”

“Just a shirt,” he shrugs.

With its eponymous signature and No. 81 inscribed on its sleeve, though, it’s a shirt that tells a story: No matter how trying the times in this uphill climb of a season in Buffalo, Owens remains his own biggest fan. The Bills have been a case study in National Football League turmoil since training camp.
